Dog’s Day Out Relaunch Event
With the help of Maddie’s Fund, Paws Humane Society is relaunching our Dog’s Day Out (DDO) program!
DDO is exactly as the name suggests; spending a few hours with a shelter pet outside of Paws Humane Society. This can be anything from grabbing a puppichino, going on a hike, a leisurely stroll at a park, or even a nap at your home.
The kickoff for the relaunch is scheduled for Saturday, March 16th and it will start when we open at 10 a.m. DDO is open to the public and you do not have to be an official volunteer to participate.
Participants will be asked to come to Paws to pick up their dog for the day. You will be given a backpack of supplies that will take care of fido’s creature comforts, plus a list of places to go and things to do.
Sounds like the perfect day out, right? We think our dogs will agree as they emBARK on their adventures!
We hope you will join us! Stay tuned for giveaways!
Note: Humane children allowed as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Personal pets are not allowed to join you on your DDO adventure.
