The Paws Humane Veterinary Clinic provides affordable spay/neuter surgery services to the Chattahoochee Valley community. Established in 2009, the clinic has completed over 93,000 surgical procedures.

Included Services

All surgical procedures include:

  • Microchip and registration
  • E-Collar (dogs and female cats)
  • Pre-operative examination
  • Pre-operative pain medication
  • Pre-operative anti-inflammatory injection
  • One day oral pain medication

Additional pain medication available for $10. Rabies vaccination available for $15 if needed. Current rabies vaccination proof required for surgery scheduling.

Community Cat Program: Includes surgery, rabies vaccination, and mandatory left ear tip for identification.

All community cats must arrive in a humane live trap.

Appointments are highly recommended. Walk-ins are accepted only on a very limited basis depending on our capacity.

Surgical Day Process

Veterinary check-in area

Morning Drop-Off

Time: 7:30 - 8:30 AM (15-20 minutes)

  • Keep pet in vehicle
  • Complete surgical consent form
  • Bring pet into clinic

Afternoon Pick-Up

Dogs: 3:00 PM | Owned Cats: 4:00 PM | Community Cats: 5:00 PM

  • Settle charges if you did not pay via the texted link
  • Verify receipt of digital discharge documentation
  • Pet returned to owner

Frequently Asked Questions

Proof of current rabies vaccination is required to schedule surgery. If your pet needs rabies vaccination, we can administer it on surgery day for $15.

Most pets can be safely spayed/neutered at 8 weeks of age or 2 pounds body weight. Consult with our veterinarians for specific recommendations based on your pet's breed and health status.

Our pricing is already reduced to make services accessible. Contact the clinic directly to discuss your specific situation and any available options.

Note all medical conditions on the surgical consent form. Our veterinarians will evaluate your pet during pre-operative examination and discuss any concerns before proceeding with surgery. We reserve the right to decline any surgery on any animal to whom surgery is deemed a health risk.
